How I’m starting my day: I recently discovered Heather Cox Richardson but I may be late to the party about this. She is a historian and professor at Boston College. She’s been writing this daily newsletter explaining the events of the day in the context of American history, culture, economy, and social culture. In her own words “Historians are fond of saying that the past doesn’t repeat itself; it rhymes. To understand the present, we have to understand how we got here.” Her daily writing about the Coronavirus and the administration’s handling of it is fact-based and well-sourced.
